We would love to be able to include video footage of coyotes doing what these magnificent predators are meant to do!
The fact of the matter is, in certain parts of the country, coyote predation of livestock, and family pets is a large problem. I'm talking about coyotes killing dogs, house cats, chickens and calves. Over 50% of all whitetail fawn deaths here in michigan, are caused by coyotes. In my mind, I see none of you do gooders have ever lost a pet to a coyote, and it is my bet,you have never been on a coyote hunt. Learn the facts, and if you think the coyote is in any danger of becoming extinct, you're wrong, they thrive in most parts of the U.S. and canada
Coyote Institute reply: And 50% of all statistics are made up on the spot, Kevin. Thanks for your info!

I don't understand why these people aren't considered the same as dog fighters. I don't see a difference. It's the same demented mind that derives pleasure from the horrible suffering and death of another living thing. So why is one legal and the other illegal? Because the media hasn't picked it up so people don't know about it. Maybe if you keep sending videos to news programs, eventually one will pick up the story and bring it to the attention of the public. Most people find this kind of thing appalling, so with enough publicity, it would eventually be stopped.
