The Hunter has deliverately wounded the coyote and left it alive for his dogs to kill. The dogs don't naturally want to kill the coyote, so they are encouraged to be aggressive toward the coyote over a period of time, while the coyote suffers in agony. This is also a technique used by Pit Bull fighters
As the hunter and the photographer encourage the dogs to kill the coyote, the coyote agonizes in pain.
This coyote is going to be used to train the dogs to kill coyotes while it suffers in a leg hold trap in a corn field. Are you aware that this is happening all over , and probably in your own home town? Please get involved and lobby for legislation to stop this abuse of our wildlife.
This coyote, is being attacked by the hunting dogs while their owner encourage the carnage and laugh and make jokes about the coyotes "predicament". Should these guys be allowed to treat OUR wildlife this way?
People are buying wild caught coyotes, putting them in fenced areas and charging others to come and let their dogs practice killing coyotes on them. This is like pit bull fighting. The coyote has no chance against the multiple dogs that are released into the enclosure.
NO animal should die this way - all in the name of fun and sport for the coyote hunters.
People NEED to see this. Everyone needs to be aware of what is really going on in our woods to our wildlife. Do you find this acceptable? When will you decide that enough is enough? It is easy to stop this. You need to be aware of legislation and encourage and support the laws that will stop this torture once and for all.
